The App is a parking management tool that allows users to locate and reserve parking spaces at no cost, sync with vehicle data, and receive parking-related notifications. By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

    • Location Data: To provide parking-related services, we may collect precise or approximate location data from your device when the App is in use, if you enable location services. This includes GPS data, IP address, or Wi-Fi signals.
    • Device and Usage Information: We collect data about your device (e.g., device type, operating system, unique identifiers) and how you interact with the App (e.g., pages viewed, features used, time spent).
    • Vehicle Data: If you enable vehicle syncing, we may collect data such as vehicle make, model, or license plate number to facilitate parking reservations.
  • c. Information from Third Parties
    • Third-Party Services: We may receive information from third-party services integrated with the App, such as mapping services (e.g., Google Maps) or parking providers, subject to their privacy policies.
    • Analytics Providers: We use third-party analytics tools to collect aggregated data about App usage, such as frequency of use or feature performance.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide and Improve the App: Enable features like parking spot search, reservations, and notifications; personalize your experience; and enhance App functionality.
  • Sync with Vehicle Data: Facilitate vehicle-related features, such as linking your vehicle to reservations.
  • Communicate with You: Send service-related notifications (e.g., reservation confirmations) or respond to your inquiries.
  • Analytics and Research: Analyze usage trends to improve the App and develop new features.
  • Legal Compliance and Safety: Comply with applicable laws, protect against fraud, and ensure the security of the App and its users.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information as follows:

  • Service Providers: With trusted third-party providers who assist us in operating the App (e.g., hosting, analytics, or customer support), under strict confidentiality agreements.
  • Parking Providers: With parking facility operators or municipalities to facilitate reservations, limited to necessary information (e.g., vehicle details or reservation time).
  • Legal Obligations: When required by law, court order, or government authority, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
  • Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred, with notice to you where required.

Aggregated or De-Identified Data: We may share non-personal, aggregated data (e.g., usage statistics) with third parties for research or marketing purposes.

4. Your Choices

You have control over your information:

  • Location Data: You can enable or disable location services in your device settings or the App. Disabling location may limit certain features, such as parking spot search.
  • Account Information: You can update or delete your account information via the App’s settings.
  • Notifications: You can opt out of non-essential notifications (e.g., promotional messages) through the App or your device settings.
  • Data Access and Deletion: You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us (see Section 10). We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law (e.g., 30 days under GDPR, 45 days under CCPA).

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Policy, provide the App’s services, or comply with legal obligations. For example:

  • Account Information: Retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter unless you request deletion.
  • Usage Data: May be retained in aggregated form for analytics purposes.
  • Legal Compliance: Certain data may be retained to comply with legal requirements or resolve disputes.

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

7. Third-Party Services and Links

The App may integrate with third-party services, such as mapping providers or parking operators. These services have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices. The App may also contain links to third-party websites, which are not governed by this Policy.

8. Children’s Privacy

The App is not intended for users under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will promptly delete it. Contact us if you believe a child under 16 has provided us with personal information.

9. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. Therefore, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

10. International Data Transfers

ParcSync is based in the United States. If you use the App from outside the U.S., your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the U.S. or other countries where our service providers operate. These jurisdictions may have different data protection laws. By using the App, you consent to such transfers.

11. Your Rights Under Applicable Law

Depending on your location, you may have rights under data protection laws, such as:

  • Access: Request a copy of your personal information.
  • Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your data.
  • Restriction or Objection: Restrict or object to certain uses of your data.
  • Data Portability: Request your data in a machine-readable format.

12. California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):

  • Right to Delete: You may request deletion of your personal information, subject to exceptions.
  • Right to Opt-Out: We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, but you may opt out of any future sharing.
